Although it was 19 years ago today, I’ll never forget getting the voice message on my phone in the morning from Charizma that he was cancelling our studio session because he had errands to run. Or the call from his mom a few hours later or that she asked me to call his girlfriend Marie and break the news to her. I’ll never forget having to convince Marie that it wasn’t a sick joke that Charizma and I were playing on her. We did have a warped sense of humor. None of my friends believed me when I told them and I still don’t believe it today.
